Mit dem Honeywell PTM7950 Thermopad und Graphen-Pads experimentieren viele Hersteller seit geraumer Zeit auch auf Grafikkarten. Mit gutem Erfolg, wie es vor allem AMD-Boardpartner (und AMD auf dem MBA-Karten) beweisen. Paste hin oder her, gerade die Belastung auf Grafikkarten sind für viele normale Pasten auf lange Sicht eine viel zu schwere Bürde. Bekam heute endlich Antwort von PNY zur Garantiefrage bzgl. Kühlerwechsel - hatte das Problem mit dem Wärmeleitpasten beschrieben + Link zum engl. Artikel:

Nichts was mich wundert, weil wenn danach was defekt ist(Montagefehler,...), müssen sie dich ja vorgewarnt haben dass dadurch die Garantie erlischt.

That is the way.

I find it very depressing to lose warranty due to simple maintenance of the product. Well, it is a good excuse to buy used at least.

I use a razor blade. I run it under the seal and it comes off whole, perfectly.

As plan B I'm using Hi-Res pictures, made with my digital microscope before disassembling and a good Laser printer to reproduce them. The round shape is easy to make, I have some tools from the leather bag and belt manufacturing for that.

So, meine „7950“ ist gerade gekommen, Dicke mit Folie 0,3mm. Könnte also echt sein. Ist von Ali, Barrow Gamers Mod Store. Auch wenn 0,2mm am Etikett steht, und 7950 .

You look here. Look at the cost for one piece and the shipping costs, they sell dozens of them anyway, for a total of even 50€ including shipping.
Usually they are found on aliexpress but now they reproduce them almost everywhere.

Habs n paar minuten in den TK geschmissen(nen 5mm breiten streifen), zum ablösen. Ist keine 7950. 0,2mm Pad + 0,1mm für die 2x Folie

Use it, it will surely be fine. If there is a difference of 1-2° which is already a lot you will not notice it.
