DLSS and FSR naturally render in a lower resolution and then upscale it, which is almost analogous to the WQHD benchmarks. In addition to the Radeon-GeForce comparison, it is once again important to find out how the XFX Mercury RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air 24 GB compares to the reference card. However, the picture hardly changes. The reference card from AMD can now be beaten by 2 percentage points. The GeForce RTX 4080 Super FE is already 1.3 percentage points behind.
In the P1, the XFX Mercury RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air 24 GB is 2.1 percent ahead of the reference, but 2.6 percentage points behind the GeForce RTX 4080 Super FE.
Power consumption is still an issue, unfortunately. On average, the XFX Mercury RX 7900 XTX Magnetic Air 24 GB is around 81 watts behind the GeForce RTX 4080 Super FE, which roughly corresponds to the WQHD results:
