Now I’ll show you some more test results with the new temperature values and as you can see, the goal has finally been achieved: the high hotspot temperature is now history, thank goodness.

Summary and conclusion
No, it’s not the same picture as on page one. It just (almost) looks like it. And yes, the effort was really worth it. Well, you could certainly have used normal thermal paste, but after the second conversion at the latest, the pad has already paid for itself. Less mildew and similarly good temperatures.
Of course, buying used and/or unknown cards is always a risk. And sometimes errors only occur later. But the article shows once again that with a plan and some skill, you can also find solutions off the beaten track, even if it’s hat nuts from an IKEA box. Something always fits in the household, you just have to look for it creatively. That’s the end of my post and I hope everyone is still awake.
