Structure
The assembly should be very easy and done in about 15 minutes. The manufacturer provides the following video on the YouTube channel:
For me, it wasn’t the first gaming chair I built, and the basic principle is actually the same for all manufacturers. I documented every single step during assembly, and taking pictures actually took more time than the actual assembly. In total, it took me exactly 22 minutes, so under a quarter of an hour it should be easily doable even for an inexperienced buyer.
Initial situation – All parts are unpacked and ready.
The armrests are already pre-assembled, so this step is not necessary.
However, depending on preference (or width of the butt), the armrests can still be pushed inward or outward. To do this, the four screws shown would have to be loosened and tightened again after moving them in the area of the slotted holes.
The first necessary step is the assembly of the rocker mechanism. Four screws must also be loosened for this purpose.
Once the rocking mechanism has been brought into position (note the direction), the four screws are screwed back in.
Next, the casters go into the base. No tools required, just plug it into the mounting holes provided and you’re done.
One of the most important parts on the entire chair: the gas spring. Before mounting, the red protective cap must be removed.
Then the thin end of the spring is pushed into the rocker mechanism.
And then put the base over the spring and lightly pressed. The final bond is formed later by the sustained load of the body weight.
The substructure is thus already complete and only the backrest is missing.
Thanks to the patented slide-in system, the backrest can also be easily mounted by a single person. To do this, simply fold up the holder:
Carefully slide the backrest over the bracket on both sides:
And then screwed in the large Allen screws:
Kudos to Vertagear: I’ve never hit the threads on any other chair this fast!
And already the chair was complete.
Stop, stop.. the cushions are still missing!
But now it is really complete:
