Grayscale, color fidelity, saturation and gamut at factory settings
My expectations are so low that the monitor can basically only surprise me positively. Considering the price, a color space coverage of more than 90 percent Adobe RGB or P3 would be a real miracle.
Color space coverage
For the price, you have to be satisfied with sRGB coverage. After all, there is a rounded 100 percent sRGB coverage, so I can more than confirm the manufacturer’s claim of 95 percent. The other color spaces are not really useful for working. But that’s enough, especially for gaming beginners and budget fans.
Gray Scale, Saturation, ColorChecker @ Default
Over 5000:1 native contrast, where the VA panel can show its strength. The performance is solid, and other monitors dream of such Delta E values.
Gray Scale, Saturation, ColorChecker @ OSD Color Space sRGB
Whatever is the sRGB mode supposed to be here? That went completely wrong. Even when switching in the OSD, the connoisseur sees – wtf? At least the monitor is already sRGB-compatible with the default settings. Let’s see what else can be done with it.
