Soundcheck
Again, Omron switches are used for the mouse buttons, feel-wise the same as the other mice in the series. Loudness thus in the midfield and suitable for office use. Here are the audio samples with digitally increased volume:

Summary and conclusion
Like the other mice from Sharkoon’s Light² series, the “S” can also convince, especially in view of the tempting price. At 78g, it’s not one of the top ultra-light mice, but it still glides back and forth effortlessly. The honeycomb structure is of course susceptible to dirt accumulation with long use, but during my test period of several weeks hardly anything stuck. However, this may also be due to the current situation with frequent hand washing
I’m guessing the model name “S” is supposed to stand for symmetry, but Small would also fit. For particularly large hands, the mouse is rather not suitable, with me with “average hands” it has worked out quite well. If you’re a lefty looking for a good mouse at a good price, you’ve found something here. If you’re right-handed, you should still go for the slightly cheaper Sharkoon Light² 100.
The test samples are purchased by ourselves or provided by the manufacturers without obligation. There is no influence on the tests and results. An expense allowance is only paid in exceptional cases, but is shown and also has no influence on the test results.
