RGB is now ubiquitous in hardware. Unfortunately. Whether it’s graphics cards, SSDs, mice, keyboards or fans – the list is almost endless and seems to be constantly growing, with hardly an end in sight. Kingston has now also equipped some of its RAM with RGB and everyone knows that RGB delivers better performance, don’t they? At least the technical specifications speak for themselves.

The RAM impresses with its interesting design. According to the company Kingston, it is inspired by the “body of your favorite race car”. Visually, it impresses with red and black heat spreaders with cascade elements. There are also 12 LEDs that can be individually adjusted by the user. A total of up to 18 preset RGB effects can be selected. However, you will need the additional FURY CTRL software to set the colors and effects for yourself or to select the effects.

Apart from the RGB lighting, the RAM offers technical data that should also be mentioned, as they may be of interest to some. According to this, the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB Limited Edition memory achieves a speed of 8000MT/s, which is quite impressive. However, the latency is C36. The RAM requires a voltage of 1.45V and measures 133.35mm x 45.8mm x 8.26mm. The operating temperature is between 0 and 85 degrees. In addition, the module is Intel XMP 3.0 certified, which means that it has been successfully tested for XMP speed with the latest Intel CPUs, such as the 14th Gen Core “Raptor Lake Refresh”, and harmonizes and works well.
As the name suggests, the Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 RGB Limited Edition memory is only available in limited quantities. It will therefore only be available in limited quantities and customers should be quick if they wish to purchase one. However, the price and release date have not yet been announced. It remains to be seen how the company will proceed with further information.
