You can load both the new and the old BIOS and “upgrade” the defaults by hand if necessary. So you can, in contrast to the physical Flash, also load BIOSes of other manufacturers and models, but then you have to be careful with the fan curves! It is recommended to read out your own BIOS first, copy the values from the tab “Fan” (e.g. Screen-Copy) and after reading in a third party BIOS, if necessary, change it back to the old values!
