Gaming performance in full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels)
The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti FE is about as fast, while AMD’s reference card offers a visible lead that is also outside the tolerance ranges. The slightly higher gaming clock is quite noticeable here. However, we will see later if and how expensive this buys the reference card.
There is a difference of up to 5 percentage points between the AMD reference card and the Hellhound (which can easily be recovered by manual OC).
Gaming performance in WQHD (2560 x 1440 pixels)
The reference card’s lead remains about the same, with the Powercolor RX 6700XT Hellhound 12 GB and the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti sharing a spot almost to the decimal point.
Once again, there’s a gap of around 5 percentage points between the Powercolor RX 6700XT Hellhound 12 GB and AMD’s reference card, even though the GPU load has naturally increased here because the screen’s resolution has also increased.
