The possible existence of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU may have been confirmed by the PCI ID repository. TechpowerUp’s GPU database editor, T4CFantasy, has added new PCI IDs that could point to exactly this GPU variant. One of the new device IDs, “2703”, could refer to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, which has been the subject of much speculation in recent rumors. However, it is unclear whether it is actually the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER or perhaps a different GPU. Interestingly, however, this ID is directly above the device ID “2704”, which is assigned to the GeForce RTX 4080.
There is no concrete information about it yet, but it could be that a revised version, an update or a new variant of the graphics card is in the works. A lot of speculations revolve around the RTX 4080 SUPER and some are already placing their bets on it.
It is speculated that it could use a combination of AD102/AD103 GPUs depending on availability. According to Kopite7kimi, both variants of the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER will have similar specifications. It is also reported that the card may have up to 20GB of GDDR6X memory over a 320-bit bus interface. However, it is unlikely since AD103 GPUs support a maximum of 256-bit bus interfaces.
In my opinion there may be chip mixing on 4080S and 4070S.
That means 4080S can use AD102 or AD103, 4070S can use AD103 or AD104.

Although all three informants are now using the “SUPER” branding for the GeForce RTX 40, it is still unclear if this will even be the official name, as NVIDIA usually tends to make a lot of last-minute changes just before a GPU’s launch. Of course, since the leak scene for the RTX 40 SUPER series is still at an early stage, many things can still change before the release. The only thing that seems to be really certain is the information that NVIDIA is working on an update to its existing GeForce RTX 40 series, which may then launch in early 2024. The company is also planning to introduce a new variant of the GeForce RTX 3050 with 6 GB in 2024.
