If we manually overclock the Corsair Vengeance modules with Micron’s new 24 Gbit RevB ICs and optimize the timings, we can still elicit some performance reserves, as is often the case. Unfortunately, the reserves are larger with almost all other ICs, which is why the black bars of our test samples on this page have slipped even further down.
At least in terms of bandwidth, the faster DDR5-7200 kit can keep up with the other ICs at a comparable clock rate. However, the laxer timings are again reflected in the latency-sensitive tests, so that Micron’s DDR5 ancestor 16 Gbit RevA can just be undercut.
