Look and feel
Freed from its plastic cover, the white version of the case is now allowed to show itself in all its glory. On the front, we have a USB 3.0 Type-A port, front audio and USB-C port.
The back then provides access to the I/O from the ITX mainboard, low-profile PCIe slot, power connector from the PSU, and also houses the 15mm slim 120mm fan.
On the bottom, a large rubber mat provides a secure grip on the surface as well as some decoupling from vibrations.
The mesh panel on the front is held magnetically and can be easily opened with the small fabric tab.
Behind it are the five bays for 3.5″ drives as well as a small hex key.
If you remove the four thumbscrews around the fan on the back, it can be taken out completely with a part of the case.
A large PCB waits here for power via two Molex connectors and the five SATA cables from the motherboard. The fan can also be supplied with 12V directly here if it is not to be controlled via the mainboard.
Four screws on the sides are removed with the hexagon from the front, before the lid can be removed as well. The ventilation slots on the left and right have magnetic dust filters, the holes towards the top are unfiltered. So if you use an actively cooled motherboard with a top blower, it’s best to turn the fan around and blow the air out the top.
The Jonsbo N2 makes a quality impression and all parts are cleanly painted. Everything is screwed tightly and nothing rattles, I can not find noteworthy criticisms of the processing.
