Summary and conclusion
With the aging i7 from the 11th generation of Intel CPUs, it is only enough for a midfield placement, the Iris Xe Graphics still delivers enough performance for the upper third at the time of testing. As usual, however, AMD is far ahead. Click here for the full overview:

The internal and external connectivity options are extensive and fast, so there’s nothing to complain about. I would also like to praise the dual Thunderbolt configuration, which you don’t often see. Why the 2.5 GbE port is not mentioned, however, remains a mystery to me. But it’s better to promise too little than too much.
Interestingly, this version of the NUC 11 Performance has recently risen considerably in price. Six months ago it was around 350 euros, but now it’s around 420 euros. The rather high price combined with the somewhat uncertain software support of this system give little reason for a purchase, even if there is nothing wrong with the hardware apart from the somewhat undersized cooling. Intel refers to Asus, but there is no support or product page there at the time of publication. For one of the few mini PCs with infrared, external CEC header and integrated HDMI CEC controller,it would be a shame if future support remained in limbo.
[wonderplugin_slider id=17]The test sample was provided by Asus on a non-binding loan basis. There was and is no influence on the tests and results. There was also no compensation for expenses and no obligation to publish.
