What is immediately noticeable is the size of the circuit board. Besides the two 8-pin connectors for the power supply, you can see at first glance that the area of the voltage converter and supply has increased in terms of area, and that the execution quality of the components is a much higher one. And: the 2 x 8-pin for the power supply should fix it.
With encapsulated ferrite coils and low RDS MOSFETs, the voltage converters and coils used achieve a completely different standard compared to the original design and virtually invite you to test the limits of the card.
Voltage transformers and coils – nothing beeps. On the backside of the board you can find 5 Proadlizer, high capacitance tantalum polymer capacitors. This very generous placement is also one of the reasons for the overlength of this card.
The already mentioned backplate only serves to stabilize the board and thus prevents bending at the mounting points of the very heavy cooling block. Overall, the board makes a very high-quality impression, the soldering quality is excellent and the component placement leaves hardly anything to be desired.
