Interior assembly
Four screws later, the bottom part can be removed, which also functions as a passive heat sink for the two M.2 slots.
And now it gets a bit weird: I was wondering why the Kensington connector was suddenly supposed to be an SD card reader when I saw the pictures on the Geekom website.
But well, maybe someone in the marketing department was wrong and copied the graphics together incorrectly. Because the XT13 Pro doesn’t have a reader at all..
Or does it? Because when the Acer N7000 NVMe 4.0 SSD is removed and placed next to the system, it not only exposes the MediaTek MT7922A22M WLAN and Bluetooth card. But also the appropriately labeled component called SDCARD1, which cannot be reached from the outside due to the lack of an opening in the housing.
Extremely curious, but let’s accept it for now. Incidentally, the DDR5 RAM comes from Wooposit and has the illustrious name WPBH32D408SWM-16G. An Intel I226-V Ethernet controller is responsible for the 2.5 Gigabit connection.
The flat cooler looks suspiciously built-in and cut off from fresh air. Let’s see what the stress tests later show for temperatures.
