Small but competent
There are shops, where the boss still answers himself. Small but fine. In addition, a free hotline and competent information. Even if many prices can’t keep up with those of the big mass consignors or self-proclaimed “cheap providers” – good advice saves more than a few cents can make up via price search engines. It’s a matter of taste, which you value more, but a customer with no prior knowledge is certainly better off in the “internet retailer” than at the discounter. We read with delight:
Dear Mr. Brenninger,
the ERP guidelines are supported by the power supplies of the Be Quiet Straight Power E8 series and enermax’s Enermax EES series.
We prefer gigabytes as a motherboard manufacturer. There was a list of ERP compliant boards under http://www.gigabyte.de/microsite/85/tech-091126-eup.htm. This is not very topical. When asked about Gigabyte, we received the following answer:
“Thank you for your request for EuP/ErP motherboards. Since ErP compliance is part of the CE confirmation, all motherboards that we have now distributed are CE and therefore also ERP/EUP compliant. This explanation can be found in the manual of each model. “
There is no need to activate anything in the BIOS. Unfortunately, I cannot say exactly how much power consumption is effective in StandBy. If the power supply manufacturers specify the consumption below 1 watt, the motherboard can still consume power, which can be caused by switching off WOL etc. even lower. We haven’t tested with the current power supplies yet.
Sincerely
Ralph Wohlgemuth

An e-mail as we wanted it. Even if this function <default>is unfortunately deactivated,</default> especially with the more expensive gigabyte boards with various OC functions. You can know that, but you don’t have to. Thus, this shop emerges as the winner from the test, even if the shop system itself comes a little old-fashioned. We would appreciate even more product details.
It is also not easy to order in this shop without any knowledge of the subject matter without any fault, but you will be informed competently on request without being forced to make a sales pitch. We liked this and show that not always the supposedly big ones are the greatest.
