EcoFlow App
After also adding the Delta 2 MAX battery and Smart Plugs, further operation is best done via the combined view.
Thefirst thing to do is to enter the personal electricity price, so that the savings generated thanks to solar energy can be calculated.
The energy flow is clearly displayed with the various lines and a small animation.
Tapping the Delta 2 Max still sets a design for the detailed view. I found “energy flow” quite pretty and therefore have it active in the further process.
By tapping on the percentage in the middle, another view can be called up, which still gives the temperature of the memory cells. In my opinion a bit redundant, all information apart from that is also available in the normal view. Youshould just show the temperature and save the “hidden” menu.
By the way, the regular updates build on each other, so it is not possible to update directly from a several versions old version to the newest one. All updates in between have to be installed individually, which is a bit tedious. I would have liked to see a function that does this automatically.
However, once you are up to date, small and large improvements for the various devices come quite frequently. Sometimes you only read a generic “function X has been improved”, but often a concrete bug fix. For example, I would have complained at this point that the power supply is briefly interrupted during the firmware update of the Smart Plugs. In an exchange with one of the developers, I was assured that the problem was already known and shortly thereafter the corresponding fix was delivered.
