Conclusion
With a price of just under 80€, the Cooler Master MM712 belongs to the price group where it has to be compared with quite successful mice like the Corsair Katar Elite or the Glorious Model O Wireless. Each model has its advantages and disadvantages, and you simply can’t make a universal purchase recommendation for every preference, hand shape, and posture. At less than 59 grams, the MM712 is already extremely light for a wireless mouse without looking fragile or even inferior.
In fact, the sleek shape combined with the grippy surface even provides an above-average grip. The Qatar Elite has the better sensor, the Model O the more ergonomic shape. For that, the MM712 is the lightest, glides the best and will probably fit most hands with its simple shape. I liked the idea, the inner values and the implementation. Whether this is enough to poach in the same price regions as the sometimes almost impudently priced Corsair devices despite the worse key data on paper is something everyone has to decide for themselves. In any case, there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the MM712.
The mouse was provided without preconditions by Cooler Master for this review. There was no influence or remuneration.
