Summary
Today, I’ll summarize it in five key points:
- High refresh rates: With a remarkable refresh rate of up to 360 Hz, this monitor offers a supremely smooth and responsive gaming experience that is especially beneficial for demanding and competitive games.
- Rapid Response Time: With an average response time of just 1.5 ms (AMA Premium), the XL2566K minimizes ghosting and motion blur, ensuring a crisp image display.
- Superior DyAc Technology: BenQ’s proprietary DyAc (Dynamic Accuracy) technology improves image clarity in motion-intensive scenes and eliminates any unwanted blur.
- S-Switch for easy control: The included S-Switch remote control makes navigating through the monitor’s menus and switching between different preset modes extremely convenient.
- Minimal input lag: With extremely low input lag, the monitor responds immediately to commands, which is a clear advantage especially in competitive situations.
In summary, the BenQ ZOWIE XL2566K is an excellent choice for gaming enthusiasts who value exceptional motion clarity and responsiveness. With its impressive features and robust build, it offers an enhanced gaming experience and has the potential to take your gaming experience to the next level.
Conclusion
The BenQ ZOWIE XL2566K is by far the best LCD gaming monitor I’ve tested to date. It can show any OLED monitor what image clarity should really look like thanks to DyAc. That’s why the XL2566K gets the well-deserved award. Best in Class refers to the class of eSports monitors as of October 2023.
The fact is, the monitor is only something for real eSports enthusiasts, or those who want to become one. The current street price of about 690 euros is high, I have to admit, but if you want the best of the best… From my point of view, the monitor is worth every cent of it. If you want professional gaming, you have to invest. If you compare the price-performance ratio to 360 Hz IPS competitors (e.g. the MSI Oculux NXG253R – which I own myself), the XL2566K is worlds better.
The monitor was provided to me by BenQ without obligation – for testing purposes. There was no influence on the tests and results. There was also no compensation for expenses and no obligation to publish.
