Palit uses its own design for this board that is no different from the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti GameRock Premium from the same house. At first glance, you can already see that Palit is based on 2 phases for memory and a total of 6 phases for the GPU, each of which is divided into two voltage converter circuits once again. For example, two control circuits are available in parallel by 180° phase-shifted control circuits per phase, i.e. a total of 12 for the GPU.
What looks interesting is the area-based division of the 12 control loops. While eight of them are located directly together as usual, four more have been sent to the second row and we are curious how Plait has solved their cooling. The two phases for the memory can be found in the middle of the upper part of the front of the board.
The back looks tidy and houses, among other things. PWM controller for the GPU.
