Battlefield V in first optics comparison: RTX Off versus RTX On from Normal to Ultra with HiRes images and video

Division of labour is a nice thing, especially when your system has to be "persuaded" manually for the 1809 update of Windows and you are unfortunately not one of those who have been pampered with pre-keys. But better late than never and together with colleagues, working and playing is twice as much fun. This is written by someone who hardly finds time to play really enjoyable, unfortunately.

We still see that the absence of ray tracing does not eliminate all reflections, especially for objects that are clearly visible in the scene. We are here at 137 fps with our GeForce RTX 2080. However, once RTX is activated, the reflections and deformations of the water surface are noticeable and much more accurate. Here the fps then drop to 89 fps, which is still perfectly playable on a GeForce RTX 2080 (everything is in Full HD).

With Ultra, the improvement of reflections for the naked eye in this scene is no longer visible and noticeable. The performance here remains quite stable at 81 fps.
