Look and feel
I think the design of the pump and its cover with integrated VRM fan will polarize opinion again, so here is a close-up to help you form your own opinion.
Incidentally, the fixed “fan blades” are only semi-transparent white in the illuminated version; in the “Black” edition, they are also black.
The fan and lighting are connected via small pogo pins on the top of the pump.
Some things have remained the same between Liquid Freezer II and III, including the pre-assembled fans and daisy chain of PWM and RGB cables.
With a size of 40 x 44 mm, the copper coldplate is quite compact, but should be sufficiently dimensioned for modern mainstream processors.
Incidentally, there are no new fans; the familiar Arctic P12 fans are still used. You will find out later why this can be a problem.
Overall, the Liquid Freezer III appears to be well made in both of the cases I have and gives me no reason to criticize it at this point.
