Benchmark results and screenshots
Now let’s take a look at what’s possible with the overclocked RX 6600XT and if we can get within the playable ranges with the card! First, for reference and warm-up, we have the 3DMark sequences of our card again for better comparison. Here you may show how good you are and especially how well suited your map is.
And of course, the usual Superposition benchmark should not be missing, here in 1080p with the Extreme settings:
Ok, I wrote, we also want to test serious applications, so real games. How about Cyberpoint 2077? Here I have the screenshot of the scene (1440p) and for Full-HD and WQHD the FPS and frame times are summarized:
What else? The next gallery shows another 7 games, so feel free to compare them with your results!
Finally, as requested by many, the direct comparison to the stock values of the card.
Summary and conclusion
Something is possible with the Radeon RX 6600XT. The fact that you can get up to a whopping 2.8 GHz almost from a standing start with a graphics card is a nice story and it shows that small can be big. Of course, this overclocking will never get you to an RX 6700XT or bring games and their settings that were unplayable with the original card suddenly into playable ranges. For miracles the Pope in Rome is responsible, with that also the MPT cannot serve.
But you can make it a little nicer next to it and make the game of choice a little more fluid in any case. The whole thing doesn’t even cost money, just some time to get the most out of it for yourself. And seriously, there’s something to be said for a little challenge, isn’t there? So, now it’s your turn!
