Summary of the gaming performance in 1440p
The GeForce RTX 4090 still pulls through fully, even though there are already individual limitations due to the GPU. But a real bottleneck looks different. And whoops! The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is now slightly ahead of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, which seems to have slight disadvantages in the medium partial load range.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is 1.6 percentage points ahead of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, still 7.1 percentage points ahead of the Core i9-13900K, which is again somewhat humbling, especially in terms of efficiency. But there’s a nasty slap in the face about that, just be patient. And it is still 12.2 percentage points ahead of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D and even 20.9 percentage points ahead of the direct counterpart Ryzen 7 7700X without the 3D cache as the taillight.
The output of the P1, i.e. the new Min FPS, is a bit tighter. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is once again just ahead of the Core i9-13900K and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, even if it is more of a tie with the Core i9 this time. The rest runs behind as usual, including the Ryzen 9 7900X3D.
