The Polaris generation, already too old for WQHD?
The RX 580 and RX 590 can still easily render e-sports games in QHD at high frame rates, but the more elaborate the games get, the harder it gets for the Polaris cards. Maybe FSR can give some more help here.
Hmm, now it gets tricky. What do you want me to recommend here? If you can handle less than 60 FPS, you can still get through the game reasonably well with FSR Quality. Likewise, you can also turn down the settings a bit. What I can’t recommend is the Performance level. Here the graphic losses are significant. I’ll show you!
The frame times are already very high, so the latency increases! The variances are ok though, which in turn means there is no noticeable judder. So now the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB is missing, or also called the Pascal generation forgotten by Jen-Hsun. Lisa was nice enough to help the Pascal generation ride out the chip crisis.
