Conclusion
Now let’s come to the conclusion of the unexpectedly long review. The AKKO 5075B turned out to be a very decent keyboard with attractive features, and it also boasts a rather attractive price tag. As a clone of the similarly configured Glorious GMMK Pro, the AKKO keyboard costs only about half the price! Of course, the AKKO can’t compete with the Glorious, which is twice as heavy and twice as expensive, but we don’t need to discuss that. Basically, the GMMK Pro is also the more mature product in terms of software and if I had the choice, I would always rather reach for the Glorious.
In terms of price-performance, however, the 5075B definitely scores points and rightly wins a price-performance award. Especially since the products are also relatively often discounted on the manufacturer’s website and you can get an even bigger bargain from time to time.
What makes the keyboard a recommendable product besides the price is the decent typing feel, the pleasant sound and last but not least the extensive accessories program, with which you can customize your device to your own preferences. Regarding the switches, you have to consider whether you can and want to put up with cold white instead of blue (Creamy Yellow) or green instead of yellow (Creamy Blue), because the illumination is unfortunately always affected by the colored cases of the respective switches. I hope that Akko recognizes the problem and gives the switches a colorless transparent case in the future.
“The keyboard were provided by AKKO Gear for this test. The only condition was to comply with the lock period, no interference or compensation took place.”
