Technical data
As usual, first the table with the technical key data:
Features
Because AKKO is quite reserved with features on the EU website with not quite satisfactory translation, I use the information of the page and summarize some features myself still.
Gasket-Mounting
As with most other keyboards, the switches are snapped into the carrier plate, while the contact legs engage the respective sockets at the bottom. Often, the corresponding plates and PCBs are then screwed to the case, which means that all vibrations and noises are just completely transmitted.
With gasket mounting, this unit consisting of the carrier plate and the electronics is virtually “decoupled”. This means that the unit is clamped in rubber or silicone seals so that no vibrations are transmitted to the case. This also results in a somewhat softer typing feel, because a certain damping is created by this mounting method. A short demonstration of how this is implemented in the present keyboard. The frame is clicked and can be removed with a lever tool.
The unit is completely mounted on the silicone seals.
Underneath the electronics is another thick silicone seal to absorb vibrations and the 3000mAh battery.
Connectivity
The keyboard can be connected via Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C or with the included 2.4GHz dongle and supports Windows, iOS and Android.
Lighting control
There are many pre-made lighting effects stored on the keyboard from the factory, which can be adjusted via shortcuts without installing any software.
User manual
Even more info about shortcuts and co. can be found in the conveniently translated user manual:
