Acer has announced that the new Predator Orion 7000 PO7-660 gaming PC will be equipped with the next-gen Intel Arrow Lake 200 processor, which should enhance the user experience. But what exactly can you expect from this new gaming PC from Acer?
In addition to the previously mentioned Intel Arrow Lake 200 processor, the system will support up to 128 GB of RAM and can be equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The cooling system should also offer a lot. The Predator Orion 7000 has a custom CycloneX 360 cooling system. This 3-in-1 fan design uses a specially designed airflow channel to efficiently dissipate heat from key areas while maximizing air volume and static pressure. Combined with 360mm CPU liquid cooling, the system is said to increase cooling efficiency by 15% and lowers the motherboard temperature by 9 degrees Celsius compared to the previous model.
The gaming PC also supports Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 and offers speeds of up to 40 to 46 Gbit/s. There are also no restrictions when it comes to storage: Up to 4 TB HDD, 6 TB PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD and an SSD swap slot are available. Users can also use the PredatorSense 4.0 app to overclock components and customize ARGB/RGB lighting.
However, Acer clearly emphasizes the word “AI” in its product description, which is supposed to be a special feature of its new gaming PC. With the Acer Intelligence Space, the program is supposed to detect the system hardware and can then provide information about compatible AI software. This allows the user to discover new tools for themselves. In addition, there is the Acer Game Assistance, which supports you in gaming with its adaptive target system. The Acer program also automatically records highlights that you have achieved while gaming. Of course, the focus has also been placed on NVIDIA’s GPU with its AI TOPs.
Acer has not yet announced any exact information on price or release date, but it is expected that the PC will be launched close to the release of the Intel Arrow Lake 200 processor, i.e. probably in mid-October.
