Interior design
The right side panel is held in place by magnets and a small hinge, making it easy to open. This gives you direct access to the two M.2 slots and the RAM without any tools. This time, both M.2 slots are even connected via NVMe.
Interesting design in the removed side by the way, the semi-transparent plastic and the narrow PCB at the bottom edge make me hope for discreet RGB lighting. The recess in the middle is also exciting, apparently there would also have been room for a small fan?
The 3200 Mhz DDR4 RAM comes from Foresee and is model FD4AS3200C8GZH, the SSD is a CYX-SSD-C1000 with a retrofitted passive heat sink. A Realtek RTL8168/8111 Ethernet controller is hidden under the plastic, while a Realtek RTL8852BE WLAN card takes care of WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
By the way, this is what the lighting looks like in operation. You’ll have to judge for yourself whether the little bit of lighting was worth the effort.
