Connectors and hard tubes
Corsair includes a total of eight hardtube fittings in black in the size 14 mm and two 90° angles, which is first sufficient for a simple custom loop in which we only integrate the CPU. However, if you plan to integrate the GPU at the same time, the included fittings are still sufficient, but it is admittedly very sporty.
Here I would have liked to see two more fittings (and two more 90° angles), because you should keep in mind that such a kit is aimed more at those customers who also dare to realize a complete custom loop.
In the set there are still matching hard tubes made of PMMA in total we get 3 meters of them.
How to do the bending and sawing: Bending Tool
Corsair includes even more accessories, which I honestly miss from some other manufacturers, especially when they offer kits like this to get you started. This is because Corsair includes a complete tool set here, which we can use to work on our hardtubes quite easily and safely. Included is a sturdy saw, which also allows you to change the blade, should that wear out one day. This is joined by a useful deburrer, which we can use to round off the cut edges on the inside and outside to prevent damage to the O-rings on our fittings.
There is also a small, well let’s say vice, in which we can clamp and cut the tubes without damaging the expensive mahogany table underneath. And to round off the set, there is also the bending tool with rubber sausage – with this you can very easily bend various angles and radii. A few pictures from the working process show the use of the enclosed tools:
