There is a lot built into the card that can be put to good use. It has a memory of 48 GB GDDR6 with a high bandwidth of up to 864 GB/s. In addition, 192 AI accelerators are built into this GPU. The PRO W7900 Dual Slot has a total power of 295W and a TFLOPS number of 123. There is a Displayport 2-1 connection with up to 77.4 GBIT/s bandwidth. The board is around 280 mm long. It is very slim and therefore it should be possible to use several cards at the same time without any problems. As the name suggests, the GPU has a dual-slot cooler.

In direct comparison to other workstation cards, the new card is said to be a better option with much better performance. The card is therefore cheaper than the competition, but should still have better performance. More specifically, up to 52% better performance per dollar than NVIDIA’s RTX. 6000 ADA. There is also a new update for AMD’s ROCm. Version 6.1 for Radeon GPUs. More AI frameworks can be developed here and the addition of Tensorflow should provide more choice. It is also possible to use ROCm on Windows. Beta support for WSL 2 has also been launched. In addition, you can now build scalable AI desktops with multi GPUs and multi-serving solutions. But otherwise AI optimizations have also been carried out.
