Transient response (transient behavior)
The transient response is mediocre overall. Helly should improve the terrible response of the 3.3V rail.
20% Load – 20ms
Voltage | Before | After | Change | Pass/Fail |
12V | 12.053V | 11.752V | 2.50% | Pass |
5V | 5.119V | 4.890V | 4.48% | Pass |
3.3V | 3.329V | 3.046V | 8.51% | Fail |
5VSB | 5.000V | 4.906V | 1.89% | Pass |
50% Load -20ms

12V | 12.035V | 11.748V | 2.38% | Pass |
5V | 5.111V | 4.897V | 4.19% | Pass |

Transient Response ATX v3.1 Tests
The power supply passes all ATX v3.1 tests for transient response. The 3.3 V rail also keeps its voltage well above 3.2 V. So far, the 3.3 V rail only falls below 3.2 V on the 800 W model.
Considering the age and price of the platform, the 12V rail keeps its voltage at a satisfactory level.
