Efficiency Normal, Light & Super-Light Loads
At normal load, the efficiency is not so high, but at light load it is exactly the opposite. And finally, at very low loads, the power supply does not reach the recommendation of 70% stated in the ATX specification.
Average efficiency
The average efficiency of the platform is exactly at the level of the Cybenetics Platinum certification at 115 V and slightly above the corresponding requirement at 230 V.
Average PFC (power factor correction)
A power factor correction filter increases the power factor reduced by the distortion reactive power because it reduces the proportion of interfering harmonics and thus also the mains load. The APFC converter must be set for higher PF values.
Average Efficiency 5VSB
The 5VSB rail is very efficient.
Vampire Power
Vampire power, also known as standby power or idle power consumption, refers to the power consumption of a power supply (or other electrical device) when that device is turned off or in standby mode but remains connected to the power supply. Although the device is not actively being used, it continues to consume energy, which can lead to unnecessary power consumption and higher electricity bills. The vampire power is low enough at 115 V, but higher than 0.1 W at 230 V.
