ADATA presents its new LANCER NEON RGB with DDR5 technology

The Taiwanese company ADATA has presented its new RAM in a press release, which is intended to set new standards for ultimate gaming and performance. The XPG LANCER NEON RGB with DDR5 technology will be presented. This RAM is being launched under ADATA’s XPG gaming brand. Accordingly, the design has evolved from a flat triangular pattern to shaped three-dimensional pyramids.

The memory supports both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO. Five different clock frequencies are offered – 6,000, 6,400, 6,800, 7,200 and 8,000 MT/s – which will be available at launch in capacities of 16GB and 24GB as single or dual memory module kits. The RAM has a size of 133.35 x 45.18 x 8.7mm.

The RAM has a heat-dissipating PCB coating, which is intended to provide improved heat dissipation and radiation stability. According to ADATA, this coating is more efficient than conventional memory heat sinks and enables more effective heat dissipation, especially at higher clock speeds. Compared to conventional methods, this solution is said to reduce the temperature by up to 8.5 degrees Celsius. The innovative coating is also said to eliminate the need for a separate memory heat sink, which expands the design options for gamers and overclockers.

RGB fans will also get their money’s worth: The heat sink consists of 60% RGB lighting and provides a colorful spectacle. ADATA emphasizes that this is the first DDR5 RGB gaming memory module to be manufactured under environmentally friendly conditions. The manufacturing process follows ESG guidelines, with the heat sink made from 50% recycled plastic, which is said to reduce CO2 emissions by 72.5%. In addition, it is mentioned that the surface of the heat sink is coated with environmentally friendly IMR technology, which does not cause any harmful emissions in accordance with EU regulations. The packaging of the LANCER NEON RGB is also said to have been designed to be environmentally friendly. It is made from sustainable FSC-certified paper, combined with a tray made from 30% recycled plastic to minimize CO2 emissions both inside and out.
