GEEKOM presents a large selection of mini PCs at IFA 2024 | IFA Press Release

IFA 2024 in Berlin, a major international trade fair for consumer electronics and household appliances, will of course also attract numerous companies from the technology sector this year. GEEKOM, a Taiwanese technology company that specializes in mini PCs and whose products we have tested several times before, will be exhibiting at IFA 2024 for the first time. The focus will be on presenting a range of mini PCs equipped with the latest processors and additional functions, and we will certainly be testing one or two of these PCs over the coming months.

GEEKOM is not new, but has been active in the PC industry for 21 years and has focused on the development of mini PCs. The company attaches particular importance to the energy efficiency of its devices and the protection of user data. At IFA 2024, GEEKOM will present various models based on processors from Intel and AMD. The Intel-based mini PCs include the IT1 Ultra, IT1 Mega, GT1 Ultra, GT1 Mega, XT1 Ultra and XT1 Mega models. These devices are equipped with either an Intel Core U7-155H or a Core U9-185H processor. The Mega models also have two Ethernet ports, making them suitable for complex network tasks such as use as soft routers, virtual machines or home servers. The dual Ethernet ports enable the separation of internal and external networks, which offers increased security.

GEEKOM will also be exhibiting models with AMD processors. These include the AE8 MAX, A8 MAX and AX8 MAX models, all of which are equipped with an AMD HawkPoint Ryzen 8040 processor, which can range up to a Ryzen 9 8945HS. These devices also offer dual-channel DDR5 RAM and two 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet ports, which qualifies them for demanding network tasks.

Another highlight of GEEKOM’s presence at IFA 2024 will be the APro8 MAX gaming mini PC. This is equipped with a Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and an AMD RX 7600M XT graphics card, making it suitable for graphics-intensive games. This model is aimed at users who are looking for a compact PC for demanding gaming applications.
