Corsair launches its new Xeneon 34WQHD240-C QD-OLED gaming monitor

Corsair has unveiled its latest gaming monitor: the Xeneon 34WQHD240-C QD-OLED. This monitor could convince some customers if the price and features match. Let’s be surprised, because the big end is yet to come…

Let’s take a closer look at the details: The monitor is 34-inch in 21:9 format and has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels WQHD with a pixel density of 110 PPI. It is a curved display with a curvature of 1800R that uses a Samsung QD OLED panel. The refresh rate is 240 Hz and the response time is said to be just 0.03 ms (GtG). The monitor in a white color design is available in a standard Vesa mount.

Corsair states that the monitor achieves a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and offers DCI-P3 color coverage of up to 99%. DisplayHDR True Black 400 and a contrast ratio of up to 1,500,000:1 should ensure outstanding picture quality – from the brightest highlights to the deepest shadows. The XENEON 34 QD-OLED is also equipped with a proximity sensor for the on-screen display, which is activated when you move your hand close to the bottom edge of the screen, making operation even more intuitive. The rear I/O design is intended to ensure tidy cable management and at the same time provides access to numerous modern connection options. The monitor’s connection options are also numerous: 2x HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C 3.1 DP Upstream with 15W Power Delivery, 4x USB-A 3.1 with KVM, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and USB-C 3.1 DP ALT with 65W Power Delivery.

The monitor also offers built-in protection mechanisms against burn-in. These include an image refresh after eight hours of operation and an orbit function that shifts the entire image by one pixel every three minutes to minimize the risk of burn-in effects. Of course, the monitor also supports technologies such as NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium to prevent tearing and ensure smooth motion in fast-paced scenes.

However, the device also comes at a price. According to the RRP, it costs a hefty 1199.99 US dollars, which is quite a reasonable price.

Xeneon, nicht Xenon!
Xenons gibbet von Intel.

' Der Monitor ist in verschiedenen Farbvarianten erhältlich, darunter „Stylish White Design“, „Seamless Immersion“ und „Vesa Mount Standard“. '
