Budget Putty with 50 grams for under 20 euros? The CX-H1300 in orange challenges the more expensive Hardwareliebe Value32

CX-H1300 – The price breaker par excellence and a real recommendation

As long as you get the right putty and the batch has not been falsified (make sure you buy the CX-H1300 with the high W/mK value), then the CX-H1300 is actually a no-brainer. The price for the 50 gram family pack is, with a bit of luck, well under 20 euros on Amazon, which is really fair for the performance. The performance is almost on a par with the Hardwareliebe Extreme 64, which is almost twice as expensive, and the workmanship is similar. Removal and cleaning is also similarly easy, while the Halnziye products are much more sticky.

Hardware love Value32

While the Hardwareliebe Extreme64 delivers good performance, the Value32 is simply too expensive compared to the CX-H1300 and is neither fish nor fowl. I would therefore definitely not recommend the Value32, at least not for this price. It’s also annoying that the Value32 disintegrates under pressure instead of expanding softly and tearing off hard. I also had this effect on the edges of the memory modules, although not as extreme as in the second picture below. But one or two crumbs came flying out after assembly. You don’t have to put up with that.

Summary and conclusion

Compared to the products tested so far, only the CX-H1300 in the 13.5 W/(m-K) filling is a real alternative. And what an alternative it is! With prices of less than 20 euros for 50 grams, you can almost buy it without hesitation, but please don’t bite into it, even if it looks like a crushed orange chewy candy (brand name pixelated out). That is my current recommendation, at least as things stand at the moment, if you don’t want to make an expensive risky purchase. I don’t really need to write any more about it.

However, I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my request for more putties, as the selection and stock can never be large enough. However, please discuss these things in advance via PN to avoid duplicates!
