Autodesk Inventor 2021 Pro and InvMark
With its comprehensive benchmark, InvMark covers almost all areas of Inventor and is a really good indicator of system performance. Let’s first look at the overall score for all CPUs. Here, too, the 13th generation Intel CPUs are once again ahead, but at least the Ryzen 9 9950X clearly beats the Ryzen 9 7950X, unlike in gaming. However, we will now have to take a closer look at the sub-benchmarks in which the advantage is achieved.
The single-thread performance looks similar, whereby the Intel Core i9-13900K is once again clearly ahead. The shocking thing is that the Ryzen 9 9950X even falls behind the Ryzen 5 9600X and the old Ryzen 7 7700X in some cases!
Only the multi-thread performance helps the Ryzen 9 9950X to beat its predecessor, but even here Intel remains clearly ahead.
Individual benchmarks of the InvMark
Now we divide everything into very different application scenarios again. And we can also see where the advantages of the new generation lie and the rest can’t keep up. Or vice versa, because not all that glitters is gold, unfortunately. Ray tracing is remarkable, where the Ryzen 9 9950X can save itself for the overall result.
