Grayscale, color fidelity, saturation and gamut to factory settings
The LG 32GS95UX should at least be able to be used for work in the sRGB and DCI-P3 range. I say can deliberately, as you should be a little careful with static content on an OLED. The issue of burn-in always resonates in the subconscious. Nevertheless, if you work on such a panel for two or three hours from time to time, I don’t think you need to worry about it. Take a look at the facts about color accuracy first.
Color space coverage
The typical LG picture when it comes to color space coverage – nothing has changed.
LG 32GS95UX Color Space
Gray Scale, Saturation, ColorChecker @ Default Settings (10 % APL)
LG 32GS95UX Default
Gray Scale, Saturation, ColorChecker @ Default Settings to DCI-P3 [D65, Gamma 2.2] (10 % APL)
LG 32GS95UX Default DCI-P3
Gray Scale, Saturation, ColorChecker @ OSD sRGB Profile (10 % APL)
LG 32GS95UX sRGB ProfileInterim Conclusion
The LG 32GS95UX can’t really deliver a good default to sRGB. But that was to be expected, as the panel is at home in the P3 color space. The 32GS95UX offers an average sRGB mode, which is sufficient for home use on the World Wide Web. However, we can neither speak of nor assume a factory calibration – LG does not advertise this. However, with the default settings in the DCI-P3 color space with an avg. deltaE of 1.07, one can already speak of a factory calibration. So if you need Display P3 with D65 and Gamma 2.2, you will certainly be happy with it.
