Testing the Sharkoon Rebel C50 – how much hardware fits into a case for around 100 euros?

Every year again, or what was that? Yes, I also like to take a look at a case and assemble a PC. And because you don’t want to get the big catapult out financially, I deliberately look at inexpensive parts. That’s why today I have the Sharkoon Rebel C50, which I also requested as a sample. And then two boxes arrived at once. As Sharkoon sent me the Rebel C50 in both black and white, today’s article will be much longer than expected. Because if I already have two identical cases to test, then I’ll put the usual standard hardware in the black one. The white Rebel C50 will then be fitted with a custom water cooling system from Alphacool. Because I’ve never done a white build before. What’s more, I had to get additional components for the white build, which I will also introduce to you.

Sharkoon offers the Rebel C50 in black and white, so far. The customer can also choose whether they want four pre-installed RGB fans with a glass panel on the side, or just two pre-installed fans (without RGB) and without a glass panel (mech cover). After all, this also differs slightly in price. But I’ll say something about that later. Sharkoon sent me both cases with a glass panel and RGB fans. Let’s get started…

Technical data
