Summary and conclusion
In terms of performance, the i9-13900H is in the upper midfield at the time of publication – hardly surprising, is it? But I’m not really happy with it, and you can find the reason for this in our overall comparison:
Battle of the dwarfs: Mini-PC benchmark comparison and overview of all models tested so far
We have already tested this processor, even in a Geekom Mini-PC. And the IT13 can always place itself slightly ahead of the XT13 in the CPU benchmarks, even if it’s the other way around in the GPU-based tests. And when I compared the systems, the penny finally dropped for me.
The IT13 and XT13 Pro seem to use exactly the same circuit board, hence the inaccessible SD card reader. This is because the IT13 not only allowed more fresh light thanks to a larger housing with perforated sides, but also the use of the reader. Just take a look at the boards side by side:

If the honeycomb patterns had perhaps not been closed with black plastic again for the most part, but simply left open, a little more performance would certainly have been possible. After all, a full scan with Windows Defender did not reveal any unwanted software. I would also like to highlight the 3-year extended warranty.
With the code “IGXT13” there is a 5% discount in the manufacturer’s direct store, you can use the coupon “XT13i9ig” for a 5% discount on Amazon. This is a referral link, but I do not accept any commissions offered by the manufacturer. Neither I nor IgorsLab earn money by using the coupon code provided.
At the time I’m writing this, you could own the XT13 Pro in the configuration with an i9-13900H, 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB NVMe 4.0 SSD for a good 800 euros. A proud price for an outwardly proud system. And even before publication, I have to update this paragraph, because the original 50 euro price difference between the IT13 and XT13 Pro has now become 100 euros with the new code “IT13igorslab”, as the IT13 is now available for 699 euros. It seems only logical to go for the IT13 with identical features and slightly better cooling, not to mention a usable SD card reader.
The test sample was provided by Geekom without obligation. There was and is no influence on the tests and results. There was also no compensation for expenses and no obligation to publish.
