Color performance after a full software calibration
An IPS panel is generally much easier to calibrate than an OLED monitor. This will therefore be an easy exercise and will also produce very good results in the end.
OSD Setting D65 @ 200 Nits
Please only change or check these settings. Leave everything else as it was intended by KTC. The settings already bring a great improvement in the RGB balance. So if you only play games anyway, but like to do so with a D65 in the P3 color space, you don’t need to calibrate at all. Set it and forget it.

Do I need to say anything? I think the figures are sufficient for you. Even a professional can work with them on a daily basis.
Spectral distribution and “Eye-Safe”
The panel from AU-Optronics in the ASUS ROG Swift PG279QM or the Cooler Master GP27U, for example, also has this kind of spectral light distribution. What does that tell us? Quantum dots are probably even used here. The panel is most likely slowed down in terms of the maximum possible Rec. 2020 color space.
Spectral distribution @ D65, 200 nits (100 % white window)
The peak here is at 632 nm – i.e. in the red light spectrum. In terms of eye-safe, the blue light component in the peak is exactly 450 nm. Can this still be described as eye-safe? I don’t think so. In the OSD, KTC offers the option of reducing the blue light component in several stages. So it’s up to the end customer. I would like to point out that you then lose color accuracy!
Uniformity
As always, the image uniformity of an IPS panel depends a little on the panel lottery. My sample has its biggest weakness on the left edge. At least there is no dirty screen effect – IPS glowing and bleeding are limited in my sample.
Image errors and other issues
I was unable to detect any image errors with either NVIDIA or AMD graphics cards. Text readability is excellent and there are no problems such as VRR flickering on the H27P22S.
Sound reproduction
The H27P22S does not have speakers. Sound via audio connection works without any problems.
Webcam and microphone
Are not installed. This brings us to the topic of HDR.
