Gigabyte presents the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER WINDFORCE MAX OC 16G with hidden 16-pin connector

Gigabyte has once again presented a graphics card for its customers that may be of interest to some. This is the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER WINDFORCE MAX OC 16G. This card is certainly a highlight, especially for fans of aesthetics, as the power connections are cleverly concealed and therefore do not detract from the design.

Now to the technical details of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER WINDFORCE MAX OC 16G. The card is equipped with 16 GB GDDR6X memory, which has a 256-bit bus interface with a bandwidth of 21 Gbps.

The core clock of this card is also higher than the standard version. While the standard card reaches a value of 2610 MHz, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER WINDFORCE MAX OC 16G offers a full 2655 MHz, i.e. 45 MHz more. Otherwise, not much has changed. There are still 8,448 CUDA cores and an expected TDP of 285 watts. Gigabyte recommends a power supply connector of 750 watts.

Gigabyte also has a lot to offer in terms of cooling. The graphics card is equipped with a triple-fan solution, whereby the WINDFORCE cooling system ensures optimum cooling. The three 100 mm fans rotate alternately and, together with 9 composite copper heatpipes, a large copper plate that is in direct contact with the GPU, 3D active fans and screen cooling, contribute to efficient heat dissipation.

Special attention is paid to the new 16-pin connector of the graphics card. The “hidden” power connection is barely visible and ensures an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The cables are positioned at the rear, which saves additional space and enables a clean setup without having to bend cables.

Due to its size, however, the card requires sufficient space in the housing. With dimensions of L=331 W=136 H=55.5 mm, it is quite large, so there should be enough space in the case before installation, otherwise it could become a problem.

However, we still have to wait for the important details. Namely the price and the release date, as Gigabyte have not yet provided any information on this. It therefore remains to be seen until the company announces further details or it becomes available from retailers.
