Internal structure
Taking it apart is a little different than expected. Although the switch on the back opens the lid, it is held in place by a small screw and cannot be moved directly.
Once the cover is off, you can access the 2.5″ bracket. Hidden somewhere under the covers is a Realtek RTL8852BE WLAN card, which provides WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5.2. A Realtek RTL8168/8111 Gigabit Ethernet controller takes care of the LAN port.
One layer deeper and the single SO-DIMM and M.2 slots are free. The SSD comes from Netac and is of type G938E, model KPART512GBC2DVT. The RAM is from the Foresee range, specifically a 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz bar from the FD4AS3200CQGZZ model.
The glossy cover is then attached from the other side, with the screws located under the glued rubber feet on the underside. A seemingly unused USB-C port is also hidden here.
And then we finally see what is probably the largest cooler I have ever seen for a processor in this low TDP class. And then it can also draw fresh air through the large opening in the base of the case practically unhindered!
