Color performance comparison
If we compare the VA24ECE with other monitors from my previous tests, then the budget model isn’t that bad. Of course, it is not a high-flyer, because in terms of maximum brightness, it stops at 252 nits. But that should still be sufficient for working from home. It’s also easily enough for gaming. The minimum brightness of 35 nits is already quite dark, which earns the VA24ECE a challenging position.
Brightness
Gray Scale, Saturation and ColorChecker
The VA24ECE can hold its own in the top 10 here. The panel can “only” offer sRGB color space coverage. The monitor therefore secures a very good ranking even with the factory settings.
Power consumption
The power consumption is correspondingly low, of course, the panel is small and does not get excessively bright. In my opinion, the ASUS VA24ECE is perfect for anyone who always keeps an eye on the electricity meter.
