Autodesk Inventor 2021 Pro and InvMark
InvMark covers almost all areas of Inventor with its comprehensive benchmark and is a really good gauge of system performance. Let’s first look at the overall score for all CPUs. Once again, the 13th generation Intel CPUs are ahead! Okay, AMD only plays a subordinate role here, as so often in professional applications.
The single-thread performance looks similar, whereby the Intel Core i9-13900K is once again very clearly ahead.
The multi-thread performance also goes to the Intel Core i9-13900K, which clearly beats the rest. The Core i5-13600K even beats the i5-14600K very clearly, which is certainly not due to the clock rate in all three refresh CPUs. However, you can also see possible disadvantages in the compiler optimization and possibly the thread director, which doesn’t perform optimally yet. In any case, my Windows 11 is up to date and whoever thinks they have to update here should better stay with the 13th generation. At least for the time being.
Single InvMark benchmarks
Again, we subdivide into very different application scenarios. And we also see where the advantages of the new generation lie and the rest cannot keep up.
