AKKO Cloud Driver Software
Basically, you can also switch through and set the different lighting modes conveniently via shortcuts.
But if you can’t remember all the combinations and want to comfortably reprogram keys or record macros, you can’t avoid the AKKO Cloud Driver Software. The setup covers 83MB, the installation folder a manageable 250MB. Approximately 200MB of data is stored in RAM when the application is started, but it is not necessary to have the software running continuously. Basically, the software is clear and easy to use, sometimes it takes a moment until it recognizes the keyboard, but on the whole it is error-free and intuitive.
In the main window, we directly get the key assignment displayed. Each key can be reassigned separately here.
From hotkeys to macros to mouse click functions, practically any desired functionality can be assigned to the keys.
The illumination settings are relatively straightforward and sometimes even a bit tedious to manage. Each key can be adjusted individually, I didn’t find a function to select several keys. The rainbow wave, which is practically always set ex-factory in other devices, is also completely missing and I already mentioned the problem with the very pale blue.
The macro settings are actually self-explanatory, I couldn’t find any information about the maximum length or the memory on the keyboard.
The tab “Help” could just as well have been called “Updates”, because that’s what you can do here and nothing else.
