Summary and conclusion
That Intel’s currently weakest, but newest processor series won’t set any performance records was, I think, foreseeable from the beginning. Nevertheless, the N100 could do quite well thanks to its modern Alder Lake architecture, even if it was only enough for the lower places:

By the way, if you have carefully studied the pictures of the PCB, you will find an AE-SC24401 “Base Single Port Transformer” in front of each of the 2.5GbE LAN ports. If you take a look at its data sheet (PDF), it only says something about 1 Gigabit. After asking the manufacturer, I received the answer that they have been updated in the meantime and now also support the full speed as stated. The measured consumption of the CPU is also interesting. A 6 watt TDP was specified, but the peak in Prime95 was 23 watts and about 20 watts after the boost phase. Beelink has done something about this in the BIOS and raised the power target, which can also be throttled back to e.g. 15W if necessary.

Directly from the manufacturer, you can find a price of 239€, whereby there could potentially be additional taxes. However, you can also buy this mini PC directly from Germany via Amazon, where the model with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD is available from 269€. Thanks to the two fast LAN ports and an economical CPU, this is an interesting option for e.g. a DIY firewall based on OPNSense.
