Glorious Core Software
The software from Glorious is almost slim by today’s standards with 140MB and is also limited to the essentials in terms of functionality. A refreshing change to the broken bloatware from MSI and the other heavily overloaded software packages from Corsair and co. I already presented the software in the context of the Glorious Model I and the Glorious GMMK2 keyboard, so here is just a short overview again.
After starting the software we get the overview of all connected devices.
If we now select the Model O 2 Wireless, we will enter the settings overview. Here we can save different profiles (up to 3 of them directly on the mouse) or enter the other menus.
In the Lighting section, we choose between a wide variety of lighting modes, configure the colors, and can even adjust the brightness of battery and cable operation separately.
In the Key Binding section we can freely program all six keys of the mouse. From mouse to keyboard commands to macros, you have many options here.
In the Performance Menu, we select the different DPI increments, lift-off distance, debounce time, polling rate (125-1000Hz) and can turn Motion Sync on and off.
Besides the device settings, there is of course also a menu for configuring the software itself.
