SpyderX Elite vs. ColorChecker Display Plus
We start with the factory-calibrated sRGB “emulation mode” of the BenQ EX3415R. Gray Scale, ColorChecker and Saturation are on the program. You can see the respective measuring tool in the upper right area (marked red). Both tools were used in conjunction with Portrait Displays Calman Ultimate.

The SpyderX shows slight weaknesses in terms of gray scale and contrast performance. This explains why my contrast data for the previous articles was always slightly below the manufacturer’s specifications. Here, however, I must emphasize that I did not hold this against any manufacturer. In terms of color performance, there are again slight differences regarding the skin tones, which is where the ColorChecker Display Plus also shows its strengths. Would these differences – between the measurement tools – now change anything in the conclusion about the BenQ EX3415R’s sRGB mode? Very clear: NO. The sRGB mode is the best I have seen so far, I can confirm that with both measurement tools.
